A hip-hop reimagining of some Psalms.

Let The Redeemed Say So - Psalm 107

[Intro]

Yeah…

If you’ve been pulled out the pit —

You already know what to say...

[Verse 1]

Give thanks to the Lord, His love won’t break

Chains fell off when He made that shake

From the east to the west, He gathers the lost

From deserts, from prisons, no matter the cost

Wandered in waste with no way home

Starved in the soul, feeling unknown

Cried to the Lord — He broke that night

Led us on roads lit up by light

[Hook]

Let the redeemed of the Lord say so

From the pit to the promise, we rise and go

He breaks chains, He calms that sea

If you’ve been saved, then you speak freely

Let the redeemed of the Lord say so

Mercy runs deeper than shame can go

Love pulled me back when I lost my soul

Now I testify — yeah, I let it show

[Verse 2]

Some sat in darkness, chained in pain

Locked in the prison they built with shame

Ignored the Word, despised His will

But He broke through when they sat still

They cried out deep — He heard that sound

Sent His Word down, shook that ground

Snapped their chains, broke iron gates

Pulled ‘em out when it felt too late

Some played fools in their own disease

Poisoned hearts that begged for peace

But He sent healing, grace ran fast

Lifted them out of the pain and past

[Speed Rap]

Storms rose high, waves crashed wild

Sailed out proud but came back mild

He stilled the sea, brought peace to rage

Tore out the fear, unlocked the cage

Wandered in waste? He finds that soul

Thirsty and dry? He makes it whole

Builds the city on broken ground

So the ones once lost now wear that crown

[Outro]

He turns deserts into springs...

Yeah — He flips the script.

Let the redeemed... say so.
