The Lord is my light, He’s the strength I own

When fear tries creeping, I stand alone —

Not 'cause I’m tough, but I know Who’s near

So I ask one question: Whom shall I fear?

Evil came up with teeth in their grin

But they stumbled, fell, couldn’t even get in

Armies rise, hearts may shake

But my faith don't flinch — I know what’s at stake

I’ve asked one thing — not gold or fame

But to dwell in His house and praise His name

To gaze on beauty, stay in the light

While the world goes dark, I walk upright
