Based on Genesis 1 - Let There Be
[Intro]
In the beginning…
There was nothing but breathless silence.
Then—
“Let there be light.”
A scream into the void.
A voice fractures the dark.
[Verse 1]
Formless and empty—
The deep, the chaos,
Spirit hovering over blackened tides.
Every word a blade:
“Let there be…”
And it was.
[Chorus]
He spoke, and the sky split wide.
A canvas for stars and storms.
Order from ruin,
Beauty from ash,
Light from the coldest dark.
[Verse 2]
Waters crash as day divides,
Firmament forged in breath.
Ground clawed from oceans,
Roots pierce the deep—
And still, the voice cries:
“Let it grow!”
Seed and stalk, fruit and thorn.
A garden born in defiance of void.
[Bridge]
Sun to govern day,
Moon to whisper night.
Time carved into rhythm.
It was good—
But not enough.
Not yet.
[Breakdown]
“Let there be…”
Fins tear through tides!
“Let there be…”
Wings beat thunderous praise!
“LET THERE BE…”
Flesh on soil, wild and writhing—
Creation comes forth!
[Final Verse]
Last, from dust,
A breath.
A name.
Man.
Image of the Infinite,
Crowned in dirt and soul.
[Outro]
And it was evening…
And it was morning…
A day.
It was very good.
